Poor Sadie

Avery decided that Sadie was cold and needed to be wrapped up. She is the sweetest dog. Has never ever snipped at the kids and is very protective. She was a good sport, but I couldn't help wondering if she felt completely humiliated.

These pics are a little old I know. But we had Sadie in the vet this week for yet another leg injury and I was feeling nostalgic. She's doing okay. A badly sprained hip and is already showing signs of arthritis from her x-rays. For those of you that don't know- 3 days before Avery was born Sadie fell from trying to jump a fence and broke her leg. It was so severe (and she was only 10 mos old) that she had to have major surgery that resulted in a boneplate in her back leg. She has cost twice as much as a purebred dog would have been with her injuries, but she's been worth every penny.
