Not ANOTHER fence

For those of you that don't know, we've moved a lot in our 6 years together. And once again we are doing all the same things we have done before. Wood floors and the never-ending fence.

We have two black lab (mutts really) that need to run, however Lucy likes to run AWAY. So we are putting in another fence so that they can run as much as they want, lose some of their chub-chub and be all around happier dogs.
But poor Shane. This means another few months worth of weekends out of his life putting in another fence. He's tired of it, I'm tired of it, the dogs are anxious for it. Now all that's left is the pickets.
Notice the bulldozer in the background. We are at the end of the neighborhood. It's been wonderful, however, phase III is now going in and that means lots of mud in my house. Needless to say, the carpet is going next month and wood floors are moving in. And my poor husband will be laying down his 4th house worth of flooring.
I think we're done moving for awhile. At least until this fence falls down and the hardwood is all scratched up. Maybe, just maybe we will stay in a house long enough to enjoy the fruits of our (Shane's) labors. Until then- I will gaze at my husband through the window of my kitchen and dream about days when he's not always out in the furthest most corner of our backyard.

You are so sweet! And so is Shane, poor guy! But at least he is home, and since it is warming up, you can hang outside with him! Or blog on the back deck while he works! Haha! Somebody has to, right?!

You guys are troopers! Just think...each time you send the dogs out back once the fence is up you will have a huge smile on your face!
